I made my first tattoo on my friend. It was a realistic image of a wolf. In that time none of my tattoo friends were not able to make a tatoo of realistic animals. I couldn't either. But since I studied at an art school, everybody thought that if I can draw it I can make a tattoo for sure. To my surprise all my friends really liked it, so I began to recieve more request. I still didn't associate myself with tattoo, but later I began to pay more attention to this. I was wondering how to make better contours and softer shadows. In that time I didn't have any professional equipment, I was to use a selfmade tattoo machine. It had a guitar string within instead of a needle. That's why I had to spend a whole day to make some really small work, and sometimes  it took many days. Gradually I was getting further into tattoo work. And in the end of 1999 I sold some old things from my inheritance and bought my first good professional equipment - machines, colors, needles and many other needed stuff. It was a really big pleasure to work with it after my selfmade machine!
In 2000 I moved to Goa, India with my friend to open a first tattoo studio. We worked a lot, but we didn't take a lot of payment, because our main point was to recieve more skills and experience. I did many paintings there creating my portfolio and searching for my own style.
In that time many good tattoo artists were coming to India, so we learned many important skills and details from them.
After some years in India we moved to Thailand to open a new studio there. We lived and worked there for some time till our roads with my friend went different ways. I was more and more into Europe. It attracted me a lot because all the masters I've wanted to see and make friends with lived in Europe. And I moved to Europe.
My favorite styles are AR-Nuvo and Japaneese graphics. And I'm searching for my own style within them. I love to work with colors and shadows, with lines and ethnic tribals. I prefer big works. In my opinion tattoo must harmonize with the body repeating its contour. I think it's silly to copy others works and to freak the body with stupid small paintings. I believe tattoo is not a fashion. So if you think that it's so fashionable or your friend has a tattoo or your favorite actor has one - you are not my favorite client. But if you insist - I can make it for money but with no soul.
I'm a happy person. My work is my hobby. I live and work in one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Prague.
You're welcome!
